Adebowale Adeniyi is a Senior Manager in the Oil, Gas and Power Group at Andersen in Nigeria.

He has over 7 years’ experience in providing professional tax services, spanning tax compliance, tax advisory, tax function design, tax dispute resolution and constructive engagement with relevant tax authorities.

Prior to joining Andersen, Adebowale had worked at EY and Deloitte Nigeria, with focal interest in consumer business and transportation, oil and gas, and service oriented sectors of the Nigerian economy.

He has extensive experience in advising multinational and national clients on Nigerian taxes and has proactively provided them with practical advice on how to manage potential impact on their Nigerian operations. Adebowale has recently advised on the following amongst others:

• tax and regulatory opinion on a bareboat joint venture agreement in Nigeria’s territorial waters
• tax implications of proposed corporate structure and funding arrangement for non-resident parties in a joint venture agreement
• tax implications of cost sharing arrangement for a major exploration & production company and its subsidiaries in Nigeria

Adebowale has authored a number of articles and publications on tax administration and compliance in Nigeria and he is an award winner in recognition of exceptional service delivery to clients.
