Amaka Samuel-Onyeani is a Partner in the Transfer Pricing Services Practice at Andersen in Nigeria.

Amaka has over 15 years of experience in tax advisory assignments and these assignments span across the major tax areas; transfer pricing, tax compliance, tax restructuring, tax reviews, and tax refund audits.

With years of experience in the consumer, industrial market and the information and communication sector, she has worked with major players in the Nigerian industry. These include oil companies operating in Africa and Europe, banks, information technology and communication companies, banks and consumer market industries.

Amaka has carried out transfer pricing reviews for many enterprises to establish their compliance with the arm’s length principle and other relevant transfer pricing regulations. She has worked on several engagements  with clients in the oil and gas industry aimed at helping clients comply with local fiscal requirements in view of the arm’s length requirement of the Nigerian tax laws and built cordial relationships with regulatory bodies in Nigeria.

She has assisted in the preparation of appropriate responses to revenue authority audits as well as providing support  for the reconciliation of tax position. She has also provided tax advisory services to clients across industries on diverse tax and regulatory issues.
