Chinwendu Enechi is a Partner in the Oil, Gas & Power Practice at Andersen in Nigeria. He specialises in providing workable tax management and advisory solutions to companies in the oil and gas industry.

He has over 15 years experience covering corporate tax planning, advisory and compliance work for local and multinational companies in various industries; personal income tax planning, advisory and compliance work for local and multinational companies, and high net-worth individuals; planning and management of withholding taxes; mergers and acquisitions; due diligence; advisory services in planning and administration of pension and provident funds.

Chinwendu has extensive experience in advising multinational and national clients on Nigerian taxes and has proactively provided them with practical advice on how to manage potential impact on their Nigerian operations

He was the team leader on the provision of tax due diligence services to a Nigerian oil and gas company which entailed detailed consideration of the fiscal and tax aspects of the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) and other relevant legislations in the investment plan. In addition, he was involved in other tax due diligence projects concerning selected oil acreages put up for sale by a multinational oil and gas exploration companies in Nigeria. He provided significant input into evaluating the tax issues arising from the deal structuring and financial models proposed by the investors in the oil acreages.
